@Javelinmain, also, when you attempt to make a purchase and the error is shown, are any further messages or prompts displayed? Such as needing to add a payment method?

Hi @Ensrick,

Apologies for the delayed reply with the old thread!

I’ve now spoken with our developer that handles all things mod-related, but they have unfortunately advised me that we’re unable to offer any help/support as the mod is not open source - sorry!

Hi @Javelinmain,

Sorry to hear this.

Other players have had success resolving this recently after reinstalling Vermintide 2. Could you please try this, and let me know how it goes?

If the issue persists, can you please let me know which region you are playing from?

Thank you!

No recent changes from our end. Can you check again to see if it was a temporary connectivity issue?

If the disconnects persist, please try running through our connectivity solutions here:

I can’t give a timeline, but as I’ve written in the FAQ, keep your ear to the ground and your eyes peeled!

The Console Developer replied, but they have suggested very similar. They asked if you can run through the steps similar to before but select “Adult Defaults” and confirm the switch.

Let me know if you have any luck with this. Otherwise, I hope that Microsoft Support is able to be of more help.

Hmm okay, this is admittedly quite baffling!

I’ve contacted one of our Console Developers and asked if they can take a look at this for you, and if they have any further suggestions. Due to the bank holiday weekend, I may not receive a reply immediately - but I’ll let you know as soon as I have any response.

It may also be worth contacting Microsoft Support and querying this with them, in case there is any issue with your online subscription. Though I do appreciate that you’ve mentioned you can play other games fine, they still might be better suited to assist.

Please let me know if anything changes, and I’ll be in touch as soon as I hear anything.

Thanks @chester.hahn313, everything appears to be fine from a backend perspective.

Can you please try the following:

  1. In Xbox Settings, go to ‘Privacy and Online Safety’
  2. Go to ‘Xbox Privacy’
  3. Go to ‘View details and customize’ (if Adult defaults is selected, it should be fine but please also go to View details and customize)
  4. Under ‘Communication & Multiplayer’ make sure ‘Allow’ is selected for ‘You can join multiplayer games’

Please let me know how this goes.

Hi @chester.hahn313,

What is your Gamertag?

Also, does the issue persist after restarting both your Xbox and your router?

Comment

Hm okay :frowning: the new crash report shows the same occurrence, with a Deadlock type crash and the Exit Code as before.

Have you made any recent changes to your PC? any Windows updates? or Driver updates?

It’s a shot in the dark, but it could be worth performing a clean re-installation which can sometimes help with more complex issues. This involves uninstalling Vermintide 2 as normal, and then proceeding to remove your AppData directory by:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to: AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
  4. Delete the entire ‘Vermintide 2’ directory

Please be aware that by removing your AppData, you will lose any custom configurations such as keybindings. Your progress won’t be impacted, as it’s stored on our servers....
