For me, it is more rewarding when I complete the task that way and I wouldn’t want to be able to get everywhere instantly but there is a good medium to find (but continuing to pile up various teleporting items feels strange). Thanks to those who have been providing the impact on their gameplay. The more specifics we have the better. Please try to include the specific location of the portal so I don’t get things mixed up.

For those of you who have mentioned the Caverns of Time or Dalaran Crater portals, is this specifically about the Legion-Dalaran portals to these areas?

I didn’t get a chance to verify it, but the plan was for the portals to show if you are on these quests.

For the part that was brought up about things like Ironforge being removed from the BfA portal rooms, I don’t think that’s intentional and should be changed in future build.

What content are folks doing in like CoT that the portal helps so much with? What about other areas? How much time do you think the new setup will add to your journey?

I agree, but how convenient should things be for everybody? Why do mages have portals? Should everybody just have the teleport abilities that mages have? I don’t think that’d feel right, heh.

I understand that changes can throw people off a bit at first, but I also think they help keep the world of Azeroth feeling alive. When there are fewer portals, does the world feel a bit bigger to you? Do you like that? How difficult is it to get to the locations you mentioned without a direct portal (talking to everybody who isn’t a mage here ) ?

Battle of Dazar’alor is still quite new – a majority of organized raiders are working their way through their initial preferred difficulty, with higher difficulties to follow for many, and the final Raid Finder wing of Battle of Dazar’alor just opened this week.

Hello Classic enthusiasts! We’ve been following the discussions about Classic closely here on the forums (and elsewhere) throughout the winter, and wanted to give you an update on a few things that the Classic development team has worked through since BlizzCon and the Classic demo.

The feedback we got from the demo was fantastic. Thank you to everyone who gave us so much feedback to work with, especially the community members who compiled lists of issues that people found with the demo. We’ve looked at everything that was reported, and want to share a few anecdotes with you so you can see how we’re tackling these issues.

One thing many players noticed was the incorrect health regeneration and the spell critical hit multiplier. Good catch! Going into the demo, we thought we’d fixed that and were surprised to see the issue crop up. Before BlizzCon, we specifically checked health and mana regeneration, and fixed the critical hit cases. My first Minfernal also originated on a Spanish-speaking realm. I think it was Ragnaros.

This limitation is not being lifted in the next content update on March 12.

Side note: On my second most-played realm, I haven’t created a Demon Hunter yet. I’ve been thinking I’d like his name to be something associative with how he sounds in battle. So maybe YEAOWW. Or OOUAHHH.

That is correct.

I believe it’s what others said, the faction is what carries over but you’ll need to do the quests. On the plus side if the faction is exalted there is no “wait until you are higher reputation” and you can blaze through the quest lines.

I peppered Island Expeditions throughout the level of one of my characters and I was max level while only being half done with the chapters. I didn’t sit down and crunch through it but just sprinkled a bit of time here and there and it worked pretty well. That said, I like that you are ready to go for kul tiran, I can’t wait!

The questing part on the horde side is pretty easy, especially if you gear up a bit first, so if you just hit max level and focus on the Zandalari emissaries you’ll start getting pretty close before you know it!
