If the message is just someone being frustrated, sometimes it's nice to talk to them and calm them down. However, most angry messages in port aren't the "let's have a good conversation" type.

If the message is obnoxious, the best choice is to take a screenshot and submit it to Customer Support. While you can block/blacklist the person, letting Customer Support know means helping to stop the tens or hundreds of other angry port rants. Players receive Chat Bans in higher amounts up to permanent if they continue.
