You would get the Compensation Token upon getting the Puerto Rico (if you already have her in your port).

The Dockyard does need some of the phases to be purchased to finish and get the Puerto Rico, so there is an amount of Doubloons that would be required, yes.

Compensation is awarded on receipt of a ship that is already owned. You only receive the Puerto Rico when the Dockyard is finished via completeing all the phases.

No.

Because you don't get Compensation until you Receive a ship you already own.

The Puerto Rico from the 0.11.7 Dockyard will not be Received by a player until that player Finishes the phases of the Dockyard.

Your understanding that the player will need to spend Doubloons to complete at least 6 stages to finish the 11.7 Dockyard before getting the Compensation Token... is correct.

-

There are 40 Stages. Only 34 can be completed for free via in-game grinding. 6 MUST be purchased via Doubloons if a player wants to receive the Puerto Rico from the Dockyard Event that starts in 0.11.7.

If the player already has a Puerto Rico in their port at the time of finishing the Dockyard Event that starts in 0.11.7, then they will receive "Compensation" in the form of a Token which can be redeemed for a Resource of their Choice.

-

Process:

Player already has Puerto Rico prior to the start of the Dockyard Event in 0.11.7.

Player finishes the Dockyard through purchasing at least 6 Phases via Doubloons.

Other Phases can be Purchased via Doubloons or ground via in-game activities.

Once all 40 Phases are completed, the Puerto Rico from the new Dockyard Event is awarded to the player.

Upon receipt of the Second Puerto Rico, Compensation is awarded at that time and not earlier.

Ensign has the right of it.

The Tier of the ship is factored into the size of the Dockyard. She is a Tier 10 so the event is scaled up accordingly.

As a Premium she'll come with the standard Type 20 visual and this Dockayrd will provide the new camo pictured in the DevBlog. The previous special camo will remain special for those that acquire the Puerto Rico the first time around.

The previous Dockyard experience was really on a totally different level in terms of effort required during the event. There will be more events and things in the future were you can attain steel~
