It is unlikely to be removed from Co-Op for a variety of reasons:

Our Game has a Win/Loss Condition that exists when the enemy has 0 points.

Co-Op is generally taken as a faster, more aggressive choice. The 0 point Win/Loss Condition keeps the match times down.

In order to lose enough point to reach 0, a Team must be at a significant disadvantage and tracking down the last 1 or 2 ships can be tedious.

The most common concerns I hear are about being nearly able to DevStrike a ship when the match ends, or having some other highlight moment cut short. The reality of the situation is that most/all of your teammates have run out of things to do since most of the Bots are dead (if you're approaching a 0 point situation).

If you have a specific replay you'd like to show which highlights a specific problem, please post it. There may be other ways of accomodating issues that are more specific in nature.

Can you be more specific in what you're quoting? "The announcement" doesn't give me enough to go on in specific.

I think the substance of what I quoted from you is correct. There are AI Tools which are being developed that should allow AI work to happen more easily. Issues should be easier to tweak and address moving forward because of that.

One step at a time. Nobody is helped in making announcements before the knowledge that they can be achieved.

Let us finish making the tools before imagining the things that can be built with them.

I wouldn't expect any big changes to the AI until the Tools are finished. So yes, the bots in Co-Op will still have poor accuracy for the foreseeable future.
