I will agree with most here that BP skins are pretty good, but the more recent BPs you can really tell they put a lot of effort into one skinline and the others were tossed together in a matter of minutes. The retrowave skins this act are really cool and the colours are well thought out on each variant. I think the marketing team really needs to lean into more buddies because a lot of them are incredible. The frying pan with the egg buddy from last act is probably my favourite buddy I've got, and I also just a teapot buddy from a BP when I didn't play and it fits extremely well on the white Kuronami.
Thank you soo much for your kind words on the battlepass! <3 It may be hard to believe, but it doesn't take 'minutes' to make our battlepass skins, however our team has been pushing to really make these skins the best they can be with the time we have. We were intentional with the color choices for Retrowave, so it's exciting to see it appreciated in your comment. :)
Some of the battlepass skins aren't actually bad, and a lot of the buddies are honestly sick. Just saying, that free lotus buddy is absolutely gorgeous for this act's battlepass.
Although many players probably think otherwise, our team really puts soooo much love into the battlepass skins and the buddies. To see you call those out really made my day and I have shared this with our team. <3
That Lotus buddy in the Battlepass has an EXTREMELY special place in our heart. I'm not sure how much details I can reveal, but understand we had a special player in mind when we made that. It was a passion project that our team was excited to help bring to life, and hope that player knows how much they inspire us.
I like the spray paint battle pass skins. I have the sheriff and guardian one and they are my favorite.

The spectrum classic sounds off too, it has a weird clicky sound when firing now which feels annoying while using it

Hey! I noticed that the oni phantom sounds totally different, it used to be my favorite skin just because of the noise it made but it sounds bad now and hurts my ears :c

Creative Director of Paper Rex here. I think Riot has used a very interesting metric to rank the teams, it isn't necessarily sales of bundles, but "equipped" bundles. VALORANT fans around the globe can buy more than one bundle, so it is possible we didn't sell as many as some of the other gargantuan teams, but instead, more people who got PRX capsule tend to use it more.
This is actually an even more humbling moment for me and my art department who work insanely hard to produce our team's content. Thanks to everyone here who have our bundle, and if you haven't got it yet, I hope you consider adding it to your loadout.

So with premier starting today we just found out we are promoted to Contenders so I’m guessing there is a feature that allows this. For future reference this should be addressed clearer for the community.
We manually move teams to help with division health prior to your division locking in. This most commonly happens with contender but it can happen in any division in smaller zones. This can result in both promotions and demotions. There isn't a mechanism to promote teams based on their performance in past seasons.
When we get closer to connecting Premier to the pro leagues there will be more communication to ensure its clear to teams how they can climb if they want to go pro.
All valid feedback. Teams are re-seeded based on mmr each stage which can result in promotions and demotions (but there's no explicit promotion mechanism). We're working on our promise to connect Premier to the path to pro and part of that will include a promotion mechanism but I can't speak to how that'll work yet.
We're also not satisfied with seeding teams off compet mmr because it causes problems like not being able to see how you're being seeded and can cause issues like not being able to reinvite someone that was on your team 1s ago. Can't make promises yet, but we're aware and agree it could be better.
