I don’t follow you on that one. If you have a cure, why not take it immediately? I see no advantage in letting the infection level tick up higher before you cure it. Ignoring the infection until it’s too late is the real killer (besides RNG).

- have 2 honeys
- get infected from one zombie
- cure it with honey immediately
- get infected from another zombie shortly after
- interrupt whatever you were doing to search for tree stumps, run to trader or base to get cure

A fast and easy to rule would be something like 'don't use cure until 1% or more infected'.

I just tested taking honey when not infected. I still got the "Antibiotic Medicine" buff, which started at 5% and slowly started ticking down. From this, I surmise that step 4 in your procedure couldn't happen. The honey is already in effect from step 3, so any subsequent infections would try to 'get started' at 0.1% but be wiped out by the buff you already have. In other words, I think the one honey cures both infections, whether you take it after the second infection, or after the first infection and let it suppress the second infection before it can happen.
