How much solar power do you have? During the day it will prioritize just running solar power and any excess gets shunted to battery, during the night it switches to battery mode and consumes power. The solar and battery won't run simultaneously- It's one during day, one during night.
From the sounds of it, you don't have enough solar power to run the extended line, only enough battery power. so your blade traps won't work during the day since it overloads the generator.
