So you don't skip to tier 4 weapons before the very first bloodmoon and quit playing before the second one.Thats where they fail, you cant make the midgame the endgame by stretching the startgame.
Biggest fail was to remove that Equipment breaks. A item should break after maximal 10 Repairs. Now you are just finished when you have one equipment
Devs took out the abusable things and made the early game the early game, the mid game the mid game, and the end game the end game. Actually delineating the difference between them, expanding on each tier a bit to flesh them out, and spacing out the pace at which you reach them. Yknow, Game balance and expanding on things.
A big problem here is that a lot of the playerbase got used to that rush of power and growth in the start, So they feel like the devs are 'attacking' them by making it harder and harder to get to that high point each time. But, It's an early access game- Still in development. This kind of balancing is a major point of why it's still EA and not Released.
