Sorry to say that, but please bring back the true Horror the true 7 Days it´s gettings worse and worser with each update to be honestly, I hope Alpha 21 will change also much in the boring gameplay!!!
The true horror? Of what version? I can't think of a single version where there was any significant horror value to it- Except back when I was a newbie, before I learned all the intricacies of the game, and even a single zombie was a scary threat to face.

That kind of horror can't come back- Your mind adapts, and you can't go back to when you were a newb. Even the scariest games in the world stop being scary after awhile, there's not a dev alive that can stop that phenomenon- With enough playtime, You just become desensitized to it, or so skilled that you can easily handle it which makes it a non-threat and thereby not scary.

To the OP, Looking forward to seeing the vehicle stuff. Dubious if I'll be happy about being able to kill zombies running them over if it comes at the cost of damaging my vehicle- I rather like it when it's at or near 100% durability.

Alpha 10 when I ran our servers with Maxalive set to 450. Setting up in the hub city was no easy feat.

Alpha 12 when they made the zeds bodies stick around. Not the gore piles people remember from a13-a18. Actual bodies. Bodies that piled up and filled your passageways. Locking you in so that you couldn't move. They didn't despawn until the night was over. (Removed quickly for obvious performance reasons.)

Alpha 14.4 when you were running along and suddenly found one of the big orb mines. Next thing you know you're dead and have to start a construction project to get your bag back.

Early builds where you couldn't just walk down a street unscathed. The smallest noise, or that stack of eggs n bacon in your pocket would bring them pouring out of the buildings. (Replaced with sleepers. Zeds were really destroying the buildings back then.
