[2023] I don't really see a benefit to using Solar Panels

I do use them- For worry free lighting and powered doors/bridges. and not having to listen to a running generator all the time. They aren't super useful for base defense, but running a bunch of lights and opening/closing powered doors? Absolutely.

Fuel isn't really a problem at late game, but just having to think about refueling can get annoying 100 days in; forget to refuel and oop, there goes the lights or oop, I'm now locked in the base, whoopsie.
