[2023] PVP needs to be fixed

No ones asking them to spend every waking moment fixing these things. Just spending at least some minimal effort to fix what is clearly very broken would be helpful.

Thing is, It does work, Period. You can kill others, they can kill you. That is working pvp.

There is nothing to fix here- Just like how in the old DayZ mod players with sniper rifles would camp newbies on the coast, there was nothing to fix- It worked as intended. In the DayZ mod, A newbie with nothing is and never should have been a match for someone who has survived a long period and has good equipment.

In an RPG game, A lower level player is defacto weaker than a higher level one- You have less levels, less equipment, less medical supplies, less ammo, etc, etc, etc- At no point should this lower level player be able to easily triumph over someone much higher level and better equipped than them.

This isn't call of duty- Not everyone is on equal footing, nor should they be. Part of the pvp experience in 7DTD would be to learn how to tell when you're outclassed, and avoid those dangerous onesided engagements as much as possible.

And yeah, This means older players on the server are generally better off- As they should be. Even in a game like call of duty, If you put the long time pros in a room with a fresh newbie, that newbie is dead meat; It's why they have matchmaking that tries to pair you with people of your own approximate skill level.

And the better PvP centric servers also have massively inflated exp gain and loot drops and spawn the player in with equipment kits so that players can just drop in and go, and to narrow that gap between the old hats and the newbie; Servers can also use mods to tighten that gap as they please.

The PvP works. It may not work how YOU want it to, or how the OP wants it to.. But it does work.
