We are looking for a chunk error bug. We have opened one of our testservers to the public, hoping for lots of traffic, forcing this bug to show its face.

It is currently a 16 slot server, available for anyone to play on for a while, please remember we officially support 8 players in MP.

This server will NOT be available as a long term alternative to play on through the release of A20.

We might have to restart the server or world during that process.

You should verify your files, or try reading the Pinned threads in the Support section of the forum.

Originally posted by Khissi: Em... I have zero issues with my game or my server, but I tried connecting to YOUR server in response to the HELP WANTED, and that was the error I got. So... I reported it to YOU and went back to playing my game.

Oh, and your server was only allowing 16 at the time.
It's not happening to others, so the assumption is that the issue is on your end. Steam has been pretty bad with delivering all of the data with a number of game updates this week as well.

They started it off with 32, but had to make some adjustments. I've updated the OP, and maybe after some more testing they'll open it up more.

It is back up to 32 now.

TFP still has the server up for testing, though the number of slots has currently been reduced to 16 again.

Just play. The hunk error bug results in a chunk or two just being a big empty pit.

Originally posted by ThaDaLinkWent: I think my current game might have the bug you're looking for according to someone else on the bug report forums. In the desert biome the inner city has a large group of POI that does not load in and simply leaves a massive hole in the world for anyone or anything to fall through it.

I somehow unintentionally made the situation worse when I mined an out of place piece of debris stuck oddly in a park bench nearby. That one little thing I did set off a horrible chain reaction and the ground and the buildings surrounding the unloaded POI area began to fall into the hole ever expanding and becoming bigger and bigger. So right now the hole in the map is exponentially getting bigger and bigger. If this keeps up, I fear the entire generated map will eventually be swallowed up... :steamsad:
Sounds like you might need to find Falkor quick so you can escape from The Nothing.
