[2022] 20k Players, Only few servers?

Mostly private servers and single players. Most users tend to shy away from public play as Dudorino says, since most don't want to deal with trolls/♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥/griefers/etc.

Dedicated server is so much better than hosting a game on one computer even if it is top end. Get a server for a month or two and play together with your friends privately.
