Basically what they all said; But also with this added on: If you can't feed the beast you shouldn't be using the beast yet.
The M60 is the top tier machine gun type weapon, and has the requirements to go with it.. If you can't feed the ammo requirements, or consistently fire a single bullet per tap of the left click, then don't use it until you have the excess ammo to use.
It's not a sniper rifle; It's not an assault rifle: It is a light machine gun. firing hundreds of bullets downwind rapidly is its forte; The semi mod and the 2x scope have no place on an LMG..Though the reflex sight would be nice, since it's really just an alternative sight to the main one. The reason it was disallowed though is likely because it increases aimed accuracy along with giving that alternative sight-style.
