Correct. And doubling-down on the damage just because it's silent isn't good development.

There is a reason silencers have a tradeoff of reduced damage and range. It's the nature of how it modifies the bullet trajectory. You get the bonus of being able to shoot without waking up as many enemies as you would without it. It's a tradeoff that is intended. Doubling the damage on it would just make all other modifications obsolete.
