I really liked A16 but, it did have some drawbacks... like not enough random zombies spawning into the world after you've cleared an area. But, that can be modded... like a mod that increases number and frequency of the 'Random Wandering Horde' for example. The thing is, the newer Alphas added a bunch of stuff. You'll kind of miss those things when you go backwards. But, if you REALLY like the way the mechanics were much better than the current system... it maybe worth it to you. I just like to keep going forward cuz the change-ups keep the game a bit more interesting.Another factor in this is that a16 was one of the longest running builds. Add to this the current popularity of the Conole release from TellTale, and the game had a lot of visibility at that point.
From a server management standpoint, a16 was one of the worst.
As for my fav, it's kind of a toss up between a10/11 and a13. Though I'm pretty well sold on a21 so far, I just wish there was more challenge to the survival aspects of the game.
