[2021] Red zone first time

Quick question:

I am thinking about going to a red zone for the first time. Please tell me if I understand this correctly.

If I am NOT flagged for PvP, and I am NOT flagged for Faction Warfare, I can still get attacked by other players flagged for Faction Warfare, and if they kill me, I lose all my stuff. Is that correct? Thanks a lot in advance!!

You can still be attacked by other players but only if they are flagged for pvp. If you are not faction flagged you won't interact with other faction flagged players unless you enter a conditional flag zone (orange circle, can be found in world boss regions like camlann for example).
