I'm pretty new to the game; I started playing Albion just 4 days ago. I found this fairly new guild with 10+ players, and they invited me to join.

As a beginner, I wanted to earn more silver and fame and get access to more content , but I'm very skeptical about how the guild system works. I saw the guild tax of 1% and I wondered if the guild founder could take all your silver when you're offline by raising it to 100%.

My question is, "If the founder of the guild decided to increase the guild tax up to 100%, would I lose all my silver?" And how do guild taxes work?

Thanks!

Guild tax only takes away silver that you pick up from the ground. So if there's 100 silver on the ground, you will earn 99 and the guild will take 1. Opening silver bags will not be taxed at all.

The silver on your account can not be touched by any other player or guild.

Didn't feel like making another thread. But what happens with sales on the market? Are those taxed as well, or as you said -just from drops-

Market sales are only taxed by the game system and not influenced by guild taxes.
