Before I start, check out this subreddits list of guides and resources. I want to make a comprehensive list of youtubers that I think can help you understand and get into the game better. The list will also include some youtubers that post highlight reels that I find worth watching, as well as community suggestions. I advise you to check them all out as well.

Disclaimer: I'll be linking the videos throughout the post. By no means are these the only videos you should check out, they are here just to show you the type of content these guys create.

First, I'm gonna start with two of my favorite content creators when it comes to Ablion (in no particular order):

  • Leyvi - first video I saw was PvP highlights and I've been a fan ever since. He posts a variety of content, including videos for new players [1, 2, 3, 4], how to get over the fear of full loot and general tips on how to get better in this wonderful game. I think that he puts a lot of thought and effort in his videos, and I don't remember watching one and thinking that it was bad. His newer PvP highlights have comms included, so I suggest checking them out if you want to see how much fun group PvP in this game can be.
  • Big Lips Mc Gee - the first video I watched has an interesting premise. Same as Leyvi, has a variety of content that I find pretty well done and with great quality. He is known to focus more on solo PvP. He also has guides of various kind [1, 2], and I can't recommend enough his guide on money making methods for first premium [1, 2, 3, 4]. Apart from that, he also has some funny videos [1, 2]. Really great content, and I'm sure you'll like him as well.

I will also list other youtubers I enjoy watching and that helped me when I was starting out (again, in no particular order):

  • Lewpac - has a lot of useful informations that helped me tremendously when I was starting out. For example, his videos on fame credits and roads of avalon are one of the best on these topics, and I will always recommend them. They are a bit older, but still relevant. He also has some videos with tips, as well as PvP content (rip pog log, this has been nerfed).
  • Equart - solo PvP content in open world. He is damn good at it. Also, if you didn't do it yet, check out his beginer guide. Used to stream, and I must admit that he is one of the more fun personalities I've ever watched, and I'm sad that he didn't post anything in a while (but I get that rl happens).
  • smillinmonster - a moderator in /help channel recommended me his money making guides when I was starting out, and now I recommend them to you. I didn't watch as much of him afterwards, but it seems like he posts a lot of money making guides, tips and he streams as well.
  • Quazars - he made a guide for new players recently as well. I started watching him because of his ZvZ guides. Also has a variety of content, with some guides and hellgates with comms, which you should check if you want to see how people play in small groups. Also has an excellent guide (in written form) on Avalonian dungeons (which is end game content, but just putting it out there).
  • Star Killer and immigengaming - although two different channels, I had to put them together because they mostly play together. Roads small scale PvP with commentary, so great content if you want to see how some of the best teams operate. Immigen also has a guide on how to make money while PvPing on roads.
  • Exonfang - really only has two guide videos, on laborers and gathering respectively.
  • Matheus Dragneel - corrupted dungeons with commentary.
  • iNeverMor3 - I actually watched only a couple of his videos on cheap builds (which are great), but I've also seen other redditors recommend him, so I'll put him here as well.
  • Frosty2200 - a little hidden gem I'm glad I've found. Tho he doesn't post that frequently (again, rl), I think that his videos are top notch. He also has a little series on how to tank in (old) hellgates with general tips on tanking in smallscale PvP.
  • KoKo - PvP highlights and memes.
  • BernStoneTv - has some interesting stuff on how to make money crafting/refining. Mostly streams.
  • Hyrst - corrupted dungeons PvP and some guides on making money.
  • Jimbenator - corrupted dungeons gameplay (with spear). Tho he streams more than he posts on youtube, but still, you should check him out.
  • Caleb and Admiral Z - tank HCE guides. Tho I know that as a new player you probably won't be doing HCEs anytime soon (they are endgame content), I think these guys can show you how high level HCEs work and why some of us might be hooked to them.
  • RonnieRocketTV - has useful guides on money making, with some corrupted dungeons gameplay. All of the videos I've watched so far have been great and informative, specially the ones focusing on money making.

I feel obliged to warn you not to watch a certain youtuber named KaidGames2, since it's been known he steals other peoples content (search it up on this subreddit, there's a lot of proof).

Also, I'd advise you to stay away from SwoleBenji as well, but the reasons are a rabbit hole I don't want to go into. As someone who used to watch him, I think most of his videos just repeat the same things over and over, and recent ones have been only him ranting. Alas, I want this to be useful post so I’ll refrain on further commenting on him as I don't want comment section to become a warzone.

Phew, that took a while. If someone also has some good youtubers, please put them in comments, I'd also like to check them out.

Lastly, please excuse mistakes if you find them. I'm tired as hell, but wanted to post this regardless.

Content creators suggested by other users. I either didn't know about them, forgot to mention them, or didn't watch enough videos to form an opinion:

  • Avalanche - roads PvP highlights with some high rolls on crafting sprinkled in. Mostly plays mace. Suggested by /u/Raidparade.
  • FlaccidBaron - a variety of content, ranging from guides to PvP advice and highlights. Also, who can forget him sneaking into Archganistan? Now I feel bad I didn't mention him earlier, because I forgot. Hasn't posted on youtube in a while since he got some health issues. Don't know if he streams, but I believe he still plays the game, so a return to youtube is certainly possible (and I'm hoping he does). Ty /u/de_koro for reminding me to put him here.
  • SirRusty - a lot of PvP content [1, 2]. Initially I forgot to mention him, but thanks /u/Leyvie for reminding me. Additionally here is Leyvie's quote:

Seeing his videos made me remember how much I like this game, what great memories we had when we played together in the same guild, and how I would love to be part of other players experiences in a helpful way within the Albion community and help create similar, amazing memories for themselves.

  • BrokenTank - PvP highlights of both solo and group PvP. Has a nice guide on group tanking, as well as solo ganking. Recommended by /u/Leyvie.

  • GodCall - PvP highlights with a lot of diving. Recommended by /u/theRogueVishnu

Edit: I just realized that on phone this post has Leyvi as thumbnail. Is there any way I can remove that? Not that I dislike Leyvi, but I feel like it detracts from the other youtubers I've listed just because I've listed him first.

Edit 2: (Advice) If you’re looking for a build, check the date it was posted. It’s not unusual for builds and items to be reworked for balancing, and the meta can change frequently, so what was good 3-4 months ago may not be good now. This specially holds true for PvP builds. Ty /u/lonmabonjovi

Edit 3: Keep in mind that crafting/refining stuff these guys post can serve you as a great basis on which you’ll have to build up your knowledge so that you can start making really high numbers. If someone knows how to make a billion silver without doing too much, he won’t post it on youtube, because he won’t be able to earn that much money since everyone will be doing it.

Edit 4: Added suggested content creators by some people in the comments. Also, ty for the awards folks, I'm happy that you find this post helpful.
