I've been thinking a lot about what this years Cosmetic DLC will be. We'll get info about May's release by next week so I thought it was a good time to talk about what everyone thinks they will be.

The Devs made a point of indicating that the DLC would address areas that have been long neglected. That's some pretty good info to go by and I think there are two themes that are high probability.

I'm personally thinking that we will the nature DLC that just narrowly lost out to the Old Town DLC. The Devs usually release the other DLC that gets so close in votes and I personally think that we've been missing on some nice idyllic almost "European Faerie Tale" style ornaments. Ponds, Reeds, Willows, Flowers, that kind of thing.

I wouldn't be surprise if we get a New World focused DLC pack. We got some decent ornaments in Season 4 but there's a lot more they can do. Additionally, the Console players won't get access to those S4 ornaments so this is a good way of creating something for the New World that the console release can enjoy.

The third one has been stumping me for a bit. We've got tons of worker/industrial DLC now (Bright harvest ornaments, industrial pack), we've got lots of big city style ornaments for those higher tier residents and modern bustling city vibes. Farmers have strong options with the bright harvest ornaments and the old town pack gives the "Early, low tech vibe". There's lots of dock ornaments. The one thing that came to mind was a "Skin Pack" for civic buildings. Things like Town Halls/Trade Unions, University, Variety Theatre, Pubs; maybe even emergency service buildings. Those kind of things that have felt a bit samey and get repeated often in our city. I REALLY hope we just get some way to get an alternate Hotel Skin. Just one, snuck in with some DLC.... please.....

What are everyone else's thoughts?
