Hi! Could you give us some info on the compatibility of the 3th dlc with current savegames? Do we need to restart a new game to get the bigger islands in the NW? Or will it be a Crown Falls situation so you can re-use your save but it will be just a different session with additional Islands in the NW?
Yes for save game compatibility, no for a new session. That is the current plan.
So we can just use our existing saves to build on the bigger islands? That's great news :D

Hi! The season pass looks awesome!! Just one small question, at the end of the trailer it says PRE-ORDER BONUS (3 bonus ornaments). Is there an end date for pre ordering or will the ornaments always be included if you buy the season 4 pass?
That is poorly worded, as it is not supposed to be a pre-order bonus but something you get in general as a reward for buying the Season Pass.
Tbh I thought that we would get another session because it sounds like you now need to expand currently existing maps by making them larger in at least two directions which sounds like it isn't the easiest thing to do so good luck with that.
We already said back in December that we do not plan a new session for Season 4 :)

Might also mean new island templates that get placed in the world - but that would definitely not be save game compatible.
The New World session will expand in size and new islands will be added. It's planned to be fully savegame compatible like all our DLC
How much of an expansion will that be? - currently the New World feels like a Medium size map when compared to the Medium and Large Old World maps; so will it be the same sort of scale jump from medium to Large in the New World?
Would that be a doubling of the number of islands and island space available in the New world? - or a different ratio perhaps?

If you could expand on it a bit: would there be difference between preexisting new world that will integrate new content at the end of the year and new world started with the last dlc active from the beginning (say there are new islands but they will be generated near the sides of the map for previous saves but with fresh start they will be mixed with regular islands)?

That would make sense for the bonus content but it does not explain why it is not showing on my orders history on Ubisoft Connect but does show it in my orders history on the website. it is the same account but it is as if the website and the Ubisoft connect are not linking the info although it did show the 100 points being deducted on both website and connect.
I also noted another person posting a thread on the official player support forum with the same problem so it is not just my problem at this point.
Luckily I do have an email showing I bought the pass as well as at least showing the purchase on the "my orders" page on the website.
I will await a reply from the support ticket.
From my experience, the order history only tends to be shown on the place you bought it (browser or ubisoft connect). If it's shown as successful purchase there, it's all good.
Since no content of S4 is in the game yet, the game itself can't show you any "you own the Season 4 Pass" notification :)
Hi! I can see from the trailer there is tons of content and QOL changes planned for 2022, any plans for technical features? We got FSR in 2021, are there plans for FSR 2.0, DLSS, DirectStorage? Would be awesome.
No current plans for any of them, though FSR 2.0 might be something to investigate since we already support the first iteration.

The Anno 1800 DLCs are availabel for Steam users who own the game there. As for this listing, you would have to ask GMG if it is accurate.
