s Hello.
s Welcome to the Age of Empires IV guide to customizing
s your Content Editor.
s There's a few things you can do to modify
s how the editor looks and feels to match how you work.
s The first way is to resize a panel. To resize any panel,
s hover your mouse over the border.
s Click and drag.
s Here we've just resized the render view
s making much bigger so we have more room to work.
s Second way is if you have any panels
s you don't think you're going to need,
s you can close them.
s To close a panel,
s go to the top right hand corner of it
s and click the X button or the hide book.
s Boom. Now it's gone.
s To get any panel that you closed back.
s You can go up to View
s and you'll find a list
s of all the panels you can possibly close.
s There's a few more under scenario as well.
s In this case, we closed the error list,
s so let's get it back.
s Go here, click the error list.
s And now it's back
s The third way is to minimize something.
s To minimize the panel,
s you can go to the top right hand corner and click
s the little pin icon or the auto hide
s If you click that, the panel
s will minimize. To access a minimized panel,
s you can have your mouse over it and it'll expand it.
s And to revert it back to its normal place,
s you can simply go to the top right hand corner,
s click the pin icon again, and you'll restore it
s to its previous size and position.
s The fourth and final way of modifying
s your editor is to dock and undock a panel.
s This allows you to move any panel
s anywhere else you want in the editor.
s To do that, click on the
s bar at the top of the panel and hold it.
s And now you can move your mouse
s and you'll notice that is now free floating.
s And wherever you hover your mouse,
s you'll notice a widget will appear, allowing you to see
s a preview of where it will put the panel
s whenever you release the button.
s So in this case, let's move
s the object browser to the right hand side.
s Let's hover over here and then release.
s And now we have an object browser
s on the right hand side.
s So once you have all your panels where you think you want them,
s you can save any of your layouts by going up to window
s and pressing save window layout.
s It'll prompt you to name your new layout.
s Let's name this 'Layout1'.
s Press Okay.
s And now this will be saved in the system.
s No matter what map you have open, you can always access
s your list of saved windows by going to apply window layout.
s You'll find a list of everything you've saved.
s Pressing Manage Window Layouts will open up a window
s where you can delete or rename
s any window that you've saved.
s And finally,
s pressing reset window layout will reset
s all your windows back to the default settings.
s If you click this, it will prompt you.
s You can say yes,
s and then everything will be reverted back to when you first
s open the editor.
s Now, notice that your map is no longer showing.
s This is because it also deloaded your map.
s To get your map back
s simply go over to your asset explorer, find your .scenario
s file, click it and drag it back onto your map.
s It will reload your map
s once it's done loading,
s it will appear the way it did
s when you first opened the editor.
s Okay. Well, that's it.
s Thanks for listening and happy modding.
