how do i get the current event badges?

i have all of the badges ”unlocked” but only one of them is showing up in the badges section, the one you buy with like 150 event currency. ive asked my friend if he has the badges, and he does. normally i would just wait for them to show up but this event has been going on for a week already and nothing has happened.
