Longtime fans of Apex Legends will know Armed and Dangerous as our sniper/shotgun only mode, which we’re bringing back for Lost Treasures but with a twist.

First, the only armor available in the mode is Evo Armor, which players will drop with. This means that Blue, Purple, and Gold armor will not be available in Armed and Dangerous: Evolved, leaving players to battle it out to reach higher armor tiers like Blue, Purple, and Red.

We’re also removing Respawn Beacons from the map. Why? Keep reading.

Armed and Dangerous Evolved will see the introduction of a new piece of loot: the Mobile Respawn Beacon. Use it to call down a miniature Respawn Beacon almost anywhere on the map, then use your squadmates Banner Card to bring them back to the fight. The Mobile Respawn Beacon deploys via satellite drop and needs landing clearance (much like Lifeline’s care package), and once it lands it’s first come, first served so make it count.

During the Lost Treasures collection event Mobile Respawn Beacons will only be available in Armed and Dangerous Evolved. Once the event is over they will be added to the regular Apex Legends loot pool across both Public and Ranked matches.

We’ve seen great feedback about our event prize tracks and we’re happy to be bringing an all new one for the Lost Treasures Event, pictured below.

As with before, you’ll be able to earn up to 1000 points per challenge set and the challenge set will refresh at a daily rate. Plus, you’ll still be able to complete your battle pass challenges at the same time too.

New to this event we’re introducing a second ‘SpecialOffers’ tab. This page introduces 7 additional cosmetics at a lower price point of 500 Apex Coins.  These are event limited so they will not be eligible to return for at least another 6 months; however, these items do not count towards your 24 item collection. They will be available for the duration of the event.

The Lost Treasures Collection Event brings another set of 24 themed, limited-time cosmetics to Apex Legends. All 24 items will be available through direct purchase (for Apex Coins or Crafting Metals) and in Event Apex Packs for the entire duration of the event. Each Event Pack will come with one event item and two non-event items at the following drop rates.

Non-Event items can be from the following categories: Weapon Skins, Legend Skins, Legend Finishers, Banner Frames, Banner Poses, Banner Stat Trackers, Intro Quips, Kills Quips, Gun Charms or Crafting Metals.

If you unlock all 24 Lost Treasures Collection Pack Items during the event, you’ll unlock the Mirage Heirloom set for free. If you don’t manage to unlock this new Heirloom set during the event, it will be available via the heirloom crafting shop after the event ends.
