[2019] Sadly the competitive scene is dead on arrival.

Apex competitive ranked play was leaked in the first week of playing, and since the new has worn off and most people have already quit to play fortnite again, I don’t see it being wildly popular. Especially since they nerf high skilled weapons like the wingman. I personally thought the wingman was nerfed too hard after the first nerf, which is why mostly all the top players used the spitfire and R-99 over the wingman. They have watered down the high skilled game play to where the 3rd best player has quit and went back to fortnite. I wanted this game to be great, but when you always cater to the worst players, your game dies very very fast.
