Apex, bug anniversary event

Hey guys whats up? I have a problem with the birthday event, when it comes to sending gifts, I can't find my friends who I play with (we are Playstation players), so we can't get involved with the event. Does anyone know if it's a bug in the game, and if there's a solution?
