Thank you to the devs who don’t make toxic comments on Reddit calling your fans entitled because they don’t want to shell out $200 on a free game. Thank you to the devs who worked to create the most fluid, mechanically interesting BR I’ve ever played. Thank you to the devs who designed a beautiful map that still hasn’t gotten boring for me. Thank you to the character designers who created many distinctly different characters, all of which are fun to play and viable. Thank you to the devs who dreamt up crazy cool outfits for said characters, and awesome skins to go on all the guns.
This game is legitimately amazing, and all the hard work you normal devs put into it is extremely appreciated. This is my favorite game and has been for 6 months. That’s coming from someone who doesn’t play most games for more than a few weeks. So no matter what the management does, I won’t ditch this game, because it’s unfair to the people who poured their soul into this to just drop their treasure like that.
However, f*ck EA, f*ck Respawn management, f*ck whoever was responsible for MTXs, and f*ck Drew McCoy AKA u/dko5
They’ve ruined the reputation of this game and driven many players away from it this week due to greedy MTX bullsh*t, irresponsible and idiotic responses from Mr. McCoy, who is the project lead for the game, and all around just making poor decisions. I’ve fervently supported this game since February, spent around $60 between skins and Battle Passes because I want to support Respawn, and yet they spit in the face of all the fans who want the game to continue growing. Not to mention their apology was basically ‘well you can get the skins now, but you still gotta pay $20!’ It’s a special EVENT, events are supposed to interest players and get them to play the game, not draw in people to buy your f*cking garbage MTX.
Respawn, get your sh*t together. Your devs have created a game that will make people eat out of your hands. Just NOT at ridiculously stupid prices like $20 a skin.
