Been enjoying apex nearly since launch and last weekend my friend insisted on buying the battle pass for me (money has been tight recently).

We couldnt find a way to gift the battle pass / 1000 apex coins, so there was seemingly no other way than having him purchase it through my account, on which he was on (via site) for no more than 45sec. Changed password before and after, just to make it clear we werent sharing the account.

Enjoyed the battlepass for a few hours, then got suspended.

Was surprised and certain it was just a simple mistake, but livechat support told me i had to wait 4-5 days for an email with their response. Had time off work and had planned to play apex and grind the battle pass so it was a little disheartening but hey what can I do.

Now I got the response back but instead of fixing a simple mistake, it feels like whichever employee this fell on just didnt read the case and selected a random template response to get done with it... It says 'Multiple payment failures' but there was only 1 payment attempt ever and it went through.
