I thought the event was supposed to go live at 1pm EST. It's currently 1:24pm and my game hasn't updated. When I log in, nothing shows up for the event. Is anyone else having this issue? Anyone know of any quick fixes? Any info helps. Thanks.

Can't speak into pre-loading, but updates are multi-faceted from our side, third-party sides, and the platforms themselves. No two updates are alike. The update went out to all platforms at once, and in this instance PS5 hit an issue. There's not a ton of detail I can provide outside of that, but it's not a great experience for anyone when things break. Fix is finalizing.
Kinda ironic that the Final Fantasy event doesn't work on the console with Final Fantasy exclusivity.
It's good on PS4, but I definitely thought the same thing when I saw the issue pop.
a quick question, im on pc and after i updated Apex im unable to start the game, its closes the window with no error messages each time. I already redownloaded the game and it didnt work.
There are two known crash issues with PC after the update - one is with older Intel CPUs and the other is with DX12. Both have a fix in progress and we're tracking on the Trello.
