Title says it all, but I'm starting to worry that, the more this game is popular, the more awful people it's going to attract. I just got out of an awful match where the person kept berating me and throwing racial (and ableist) slurs through Voice Chat, and, after disabling it, he continued through text. And the worst part is that I couldn't do ANYTHING about it. Absolutely zilch - I can't even report a teammate unless I'm spectating him. This hasn't been very common, thank heavens, but I'm just afraid it might become so. And tools to combat it would be heavily appreciated.
And I don't even think it's hard to implement - You've already got half of it in place for a cheater report system, all that's left is extending it to teammates through the banner screen and adding options for sh*tty behaviour. Fact of the matter is, someone could get into every single game, drop alone, die in two seconds, spend the rest of the game spectating and throwing genuinely awful stuff through text and voice while the other two stay alive, and he gets to do that SCOT FREE save for "wasting time" in his end.
I know a proper Report System for toxicity is not priority, but honestly? It should be. Heck, for a free-to-play online-only team-based game? It should have been there from the start! I love the game and I'm amazed at how much polish it has - when you're actually running around and jumping. Which is great - but more care and time should also be spent on the outer shell of the core gameplay loop, because, otherwise, it's going to affect your incredible experience... :/
