  • executions/fatalities- I was never a fan of how dinos fighting amounted to them replaying the same animations over and over until one turns into a ragdoll. What I would find interesting is the prospect of unique kill animations between certain dinos, especially those with irl connections. (ex: trike and rex, diplo and allo) I do recognize though that A) on meat runs it could be pretty annoying to have your dino just stop and play a finishing move and B) when a dino is being swarmed by enemies, having it stop to finish one is probably the worst thing that can happen. With that in mind, I feel they should be conditional and if I were to design it myself, I would make it so that if there was a currently hostile creature nearby, the animation wouldn't play, and if you were holding down a directional input at the time, a fast animation would occur to allow quickly going from enemy to enemy.

  • death animations for larger creatures- more of a continuation of the above, I think a death animation would be interesting, and it would be even less work than executions since A) it wouldn't be two creatures interacting in one animation and B) there are already knockout animations. I think reusing KO animations at maybe a different speed wouldn't be too confusing since the game tells you when you kill a dino anyway. To avoid confusion it would be better though if, should they put in such animations, they make unique ones.

  • mid tier dino TLC- the carno isn't particularly good, the megalodon isn't either, and I don't think people need to say anything about the diplodocus. And it's not like there aren't ideas out there how to fix it: seemingly every mod that modifies dinos gives the diplo a decent hitting attack, and one of my favorite dino rework mods, zth chargers, gives the carno a rhino style charge which works pretty well for it. I think the creatures sucking in game is a shame though given how carnotaurus was one of the fastest large theropods, diplodocus was among the longest of all dinos, and megalodon had the strongest bite force of anything on earth.

A better Liopleurodon- I probably should have put this in the mid tier TLC spot... anyhow, I think given the promise of a sort of deep sea miner who can harvest silica and make oxygen drain more slowly, the meme of a liopleurodon we got is just disappointing. Kraken's better dinos includes a lio similar to the one promised, and while I think it's a bit too powerful with its ridiculously slow oxygen drain rate and ability to use weapons along with high damaging attacks, it shows just how much better it could have been.

Prim + food and crops- I think a number of the prim + food items are interesting, such as the juices which can be consumed by the player to stop stamina degradation, and the coffee and tea which protect against hyperthermia and slower food consumption.
