My post to the official forums was removed and I was issued a warning for posting about (..) cheating. What kind of bullsh*t is that? Grapeshot hardly does anything to obvious hackers with clear proof and we are banned to name cheaters on their official forums.

Jat you've been great to me but that policy is bullsh*t and the fact I got warned for pointing out exploiters ruining your hardwork is absurd.

The related report is under review and an investigation based upon this (along with other reports) has been ongoing for some time. As I'm pretty confident you're aware, we don't divulge details in regards to our investigations but I can assure you that the reports are being actively looked into and (where appropriate) acted upon. Investigations can take time dependant on certain factors and the amount of players potentially involved.

Please understand that witch hunting is against our Forum ToS and I back our moderators who decided to hide that thread. You weren't banned from the Forums, you were given a 0 point warning and a reminder of the rules as far as I can see. Player reports via our ticketing system are the most effective way for us to investigate.

For future reference, players can find our banlist here: http://atlasdedicated.com/pc/banlist.txt

To add on to this, these posts don't really help us with the investigation unless they're introducing new evidence or alerting us to a current action that someone may be freed up to look into. When we handle these investigations, we're not just interested in catching the poster-kid/main culprit. We also want to identify what/how they're cheating and have that method completely detected so we can ban multiple people at the same time, and build a stronger case against particular companies. This means it may take some time until action is taken because closing an investigation isn't as simple as just banning one individual. They're more effective when we can use them to identify a group of cheaters at once and effectively lock down the use of a particular 3rd party prog.

Which is why we want folks to submit report tickets, because they'll always be looked at and invested thoroughly, plus it doesn't alert these 'cheaters' that they've got a spotlight on them which allows us to catch more.

Furthermore, if this thread was made about a North American, European, African, Australian, whatever company, it would be handled the exact same way. Does this feel like the best method for you on a personal level? Perhaps not, as you're having to wait sometime longer for action to be taken against someone who has wronged you, but it works best for us as it allows us to catch multiple cheaters in 1 swoop, as well as future ones.

Would you rather 1 cheater is banned, or 30 cheater are banned and the program they're using is detected so that future ones can be caught too? If it's the former for you, fair enough, but for us, it's the latter and that's why we'll continue to use this method.
