I have a native 4k monitor and I noticed that running DLSS or lowering the in game resolution has a very disproportionate FPS gain for the drop in resolution. My assumption is that some post processing is happening at native resolution, regardless if you're using Resolution Scale or DLSS.

To test, I ran the game at Windowed Fullscreen @ 2560x1440 and was getting 32 FPS. After setting the game to Fullscreen, it went up to 51 FPS. Also, after some poking around, I noticed that the game always renders at your native resolution if you are on Windowed Fullscreen, regardless if you change the resolution or not. DLSS does boost the performance a little, but not as much as running at fullscreen and just dropping the resolution.

I'm using a RTX 3090 for reference.

Hope this helps
