With the new homestead update, the dinos now can ask for all new kinds of kibble besides prime meats and jerky:

My suggestion is that when you're imprinting, a dino can't need a better kind of kibble that the one it preferres for taming. For example: for the taming an Argentavis you need superior kibble (according to the wiki), so when you breed one and imprint it, it can only ask for the meats listed or basic, simple, regular or superior kibble, but NOT exceptional or extraordinary kibble.

That I believe is the only way to make it cost effective; because if you want to imprint let's say lots of pteras or low tier dinos there's the risk that they ask for extraordinary kibble, and it's so hard to make that it'd be a waste of imprinting hours and not really profitable.

Maybe! I have to figure it out in Ark Server Manager :)

In any case, this post wasn't meant to be a discussion about cryopods yes/no, just a suggestion for a workaround for the new kibble system since right now is not really profitable to risk to imprint 100% anything less than a very good rex/giga or such, because extraordinary kibble is so difficult to make.

I think you have to add "-ActiveEvent=WinterWonderland" to the Launcher Args.
