[2023] Just read an article about mods on Console

Is it true that mods will be coming to console as well?

I don't want to get my hopes up, because in that case I'd buy it ok console instead, especially since I'd be able to get a solid 60fps with my ps5 (assuming wildcar lets us anyway).
