Office Hours is an opportunity to join the player discussion on topics we're actively collecting feedback on. Join @Roshen and @Vaknar over in the Ashes of Creation Discord for a voice chat during our next Community Office Hours on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 11AM PDT (convert to your local time). This event should last about one hour. This is not a Q&A session. For this session, we will be using Discord Stage. Every 10 minutes, we’ll be bringing up small groups of players to participate in one of the discussion prompts on this topic. DISCUSSION TOPIC The main topic of discussion for this Office Hours will be the Node War System, based on what we shared during the May 2024 Development Update Livestream. In this session, we’ll break each of the 10 minute segments up to focus on one of these conversations:
  • General Node Wars Discussion - How do you feel about the direction Node Wars and mass PvP is moving in based on what was shared during the May 2024 Development Update? What did you enjoy, and what do you think should be done differently?
  • Territory Control Event - While Node Wars will be made up of several events, what feedback do you have on the specific territory control event shown during the May 2024 Development Update?
  • Mass Battles vs Small Teams - There are a variety of event types that can be part of Node Wars. What do you think the balance should be between mass PvP battles, and smaller teams working towards smaller objectives?
  • Node Wars Blue-sky - What types of interactions between Nodes do you want to see during Node Wars? What rewards would be cool? What aspects from other games or popular media would you like to see in Node Wars systems in Ashes of Creation?
If you’d like to contribute to this discussion, we recommend you watch the Alpha Two Node Wars Preview video. Thanks again! We look forward to chatting with you all soon! ----- NOTE: If you have feedback about things shared during the Node Wars Preview, and you don’t share it with us during Office Hours, please share it with us here.
