Please log out of Steam and restart Steam and your client if you are on EU PVE

You should see these 3 game options when you right click ATLAS:

Play Game

Play ATLAS (Low Memory Mode)

Play ATLAS (No BattlEye)

The first option is what you want to select, and then you should be able to log into EU PVE

We are looking into this issue at the moment.

Do you guys see the disconnect after logging on and playing for a few minutes (seconds?)

Or is it after carrying out a certain action, such as opening a door, etc?

Out of curiosity, how long does it take you guys to load into the game itself?

almost 6 years ago - Jatheish - Direct link

Could you guys let me know which specific grid you're playing on?

Some additional questions folks (we're iterating on this at the moment):

- If you open up task manager, do you have BEService.exe running in the processes tab? It'll look something like this

https://gyazo.com/3d1bdf12dca747c64534bd974aed3158

- And if you browse to this location: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\ATLAS\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64

Do you see a BattlEye folder & ATLASGame_BE.exe?

Alrighty, for those of you on N10/N11 -- would you like to give it a shot now? Might have to give it a few minutes for the server to finish spooling up.

almost 6 years ago - Jatheish - Direct link

That's good news, do we have any other players able to verify?

It'll be N10 specific for this case, but we'll be rolling wide.

Alrighty, the team are going to setting this change live on the entire network, so you should be able to log in after the upcoming deployment.

BattlEye's FAQ suggests:

BattlEye detects that your game’s memory is not what it is supposed to be. Scan your system for viruses/trojans/spyware and check your RAM for possible defects (using tools like Memtest86). If that doesn’t help, the game’s installation on your hard disk is possibly corrupted – therefore, try to reinstall the game.

Could you give that a shot? It's not a widespread issue we're seeing atm.

Would you be able to verify the following for me?

- If you open up task manager, do you have BEService.exe running in the processes tab? It'll look something like this

Do you see a BattlEye folder & ATLASGame_BE.exe?

Okay, if the service isn't running then that'll probably be why you're having issues. When you launched the game, you did choose accept to installing the application, right?

almost 6 years ago - Jatheish - Direct link

Okay, now that you've got it running, can you try to join any server on the network you play on and see if that works?

almost 6 years ago - Jatheish - Direct link

That's fine, the game will automatically direct you to the same grid, as long as you've selected the same network, so in this case Hydra's Den NA PVE.

almost 6 years ago - Jatheish - Direct link

Does this happen consistently? Or are you able to get on shortly after being kicked?

Could you guys try the following, please:

Browse to the following directory: steamapps\common\ATLAS\ShooterGame\Binaries\Win64

and right click: ATLASGame_BE and select "Run as administrator" and let me know if that works out.

From the sounds of it, seems like it doesn't have the right permissions on your PC, perhaps due to antivirus or security software blocking it, you may need to add it to an exceptions list.

What version of Windows do you have installed? Are you using an insider build or a prelease Win 10 build?

almost 6 years ago - Jatheish - Direct link

Which operating system are you running?

almost 6 years ago - Jatheish - Direct link

BattlEye is not compatible with Windows 10 'Insider' builds, so this will explain why we're seeing some of the reports at the moment. It's not an operating system we support on our Official Network. I'll discuss with the team to see if there's anything that can change but I wouldn't have high hopes for an immediate resolution. We recommend for minimum specs that users are running the standard versions of Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit). It may be something in time that BattlEye will be able to support, but we're/they're not able to cover all spectrums, unfortunately.

almost 6 years ago - Jatheish - Direct link

I've spoken to the BattlEye developers and they're going to be working on an update which will provide support for those beta/insider operating systems. There's no real timeline on it atm but hoping they'll have it done within the week.
