From the patch notes - WALL Lantern resource consumption rate reduced by 75%

This on paper is fantastic and gives them a chance to not have to run out and maintain them all the time. However what has actually happened is that instead of lasting 4x as long, as in they only consume 25% of the former resources, they actually only last 25% as long as previous.

Lanterns used to last about a IRL day. Now however it seems they last about 1/4th as much as they used to. Maybe 5-8 hours tops. I think whoever went to make the switch to "buff" the lanterns changed the wrong value on them. Instead of consumption rate being 25%, it's like the total resources in the lantern got slashed to 25% without the consumption being changed. While it's nice to be able to repair them right on the wall hook with oil, it's not nice to have to have people constantly do this.

*it seems wall torches are the same. Lost our baby tigers because torches aren't lasting as long as they should be.
