Also should be able to reel in the suit when your down, so that you can move large amounts of salvage. Either that or we need deploy-able balloons, where we can fill them with items and float it to the surface.

7: To add to 6 you cant currently clear salvage.. so even if there is literally nothing left of the boat below it remains as wreckage on the surface.

8: Limit claims, its been said 100X but here it is

9: Gold needs more uses, the dragon is cool but its 50k, the dyes you can make for free, and the cosmetic ship upgrades are neat but you cant really do much with that. My recommendation is allowing us buy special items we cant normally get with gold, like new ship bps, ship parts, guns, crossbows, spear guns, all sorts of new stuff.

10: Fishing, there is zero reason to fish currently. You get more fish... but nobody bothers with that since dying is better that trying to fight vitamins.

11: Certain skills need their points reworked, its silly that metal tools costs 8 points when cannons cost 6.

12: We need ways of getting materials that everyone needs, but aren't high value, for example Salt, it would be nice if we could gather salt water in buckets and let it dry in basins.

13: Function Ships, We need options to spec ships for certain functions, for example. A fishing boat that has a net dragging behind it for gathering fish. A salvaging boat that has a crane to pull the wreckage to the surface. Or a ironclad thats super slow but high defense.

Like these are just some basic ideas that would be amazing to add in my opinion

Lot of cool discussion in this thread but I just wanted to let you know that lanterns work underwater for your salvaging needs. ;)
