External link →Because they straight copied ARK ~2 years ago. That feature wasn't implemented yet. I would guess that many of the same exploits/bugs that existed back then are still in ATLAS, which explains the prevalence of dupes ( and other exploits ). Search for bugs and features requests from before ~2017 and you will see a few familiar things
I wouldn't say 2 years ago, at least not entirely! But aye the game comes from the same foundation. The good thing is, we're often able to bring in fixes or make similar changes and vice versa, there are some fixes and optimisations we've done on ATLAS that the ARK team have also been able to incorporate. As for dupe/transfers, the methods used in ATLAS are pretty different to ARK so we have different problems we had to address prior to launch and any new ones now that are discovered wouldn't have happened in ARK.
