My company unclaimed an island to free up points for one that looked more appealing to us. This was on sunday afternoon EST. As of now, we are still shown using 30/52 points even though we only have one 15 point island claimed. Is there a cooldown on the points being returned, or are they lost forever?

Must be a bug, we unclaimed a 15 point island to have enough points for a bigger one, worked instantly. We demolished the flag on the small one seconds before we put down the new one.
Was indeed a bug related to transitioning, but should be fixed now.
