Placing foodlockers and ship ressource boxes to every single spot you need defense is pure cancer... you spend so much time maintanance these and its simply not fun. Why not let them get paid out of the claim flag instead? On ships its totally ok how it is. For tames it is fine too in my eyes because you simply have a stable to park them over night.
