With the latest announcement of the patch in March came the announcement of a wipe. The problem however, is that the wipe was announced a month in advance and in doing so it made a lot of people leave. I fear that since the wipe is so far away, a lot of the hype surrounding it will have dissipated by the time the wipe date is reached and the same players playing now will be the only ones playing in "Season 2". I believe if the wipe date was moved, to let's say a week from now, then a lot of the hype surrounding the wipe will still be here and a lot of the people who quit in the first week of the game will come back and new people will buy the game, since they see all the new hype being introduced. The developers can take the next week to iron out the core aspects of this next patch (such as the claim flag system) and then worry about the new items like the guillotine and the peg leg for the stated patch date (March 20th). Doing this will let everyone have the core aspects the devs want to add to the game, while still keeping all the hype going and in doing so could jump start Atlas again. If you are in agreeance with this please upvote, so the developers can see and leave your thoughts below.

The time required is for the big stuff: claim system, war system, and world redesign. Not the other things.
