[2020] Next generation transfer or purchase

I'm sure this has been answered elsewhere but I cannot find information regarding it. How are they handling the transfer to next gen for this game. I've seen some games be free to transfer over and some that will come with costs.

I'm fairly certain that with the release of the next gen consoles they will be releasing a special collectors version of the game, the Avengers Assemble edition, for full price which likely adds additional items/cosmetics and actually fixes some performance issues and does just enough to make you have to buy it.
