If this scenario applies to you, please reach out to PlayStation customer service to refund the Standard Edition pre-order. Then the system will default to the early access date.

This issue in part seems to be caused by pre-ordering the standard edition of Marvel’s Avengers, and then deciding to also purchase the Digital Deluxe edition for early access. When this happens, the system will prioritize the latest playable date – in this case, 9/4.

Potential Workaround on PlayStation: Go to library > purchased > Marvel's Avengers > Select game > Download. We are continuing to investigate. If you are still having an issue with Early Access, please create a ticket with Square Enix support: https://support.square-enix-games.com/
