[2021] Entire Save has been deleted after trying to join friend's game!

This just happened. Tried to join my friend's game and when I got in to the choose character screen, only 6 characters were there. After checking, all my gear has been deleted. All my characters are back to Level 1. All my Campaigns are back to 0%. All my Units are gone. It seems my Credits remained and maybe the skins I bought with Credits but by the looks of it, literally EVERYTHING else is gone. Has anyone else had this issue?

Not sure what to do now. This happened on Xbox. Restarting the game didn't fix it and neither did restarting the console.

My entire save is gone!

Never had any issues before this update. Everyone might want to back up their save and be careful!

Update: For anyone else with this issue, it was fixed by loading "Backup Save 2" in the Game Settings even though the save date was incorrect. It restored my account to a backup from a few hours ago.
