I'm in love with the game but today i've got a negative experience overall so i've decided to write down mechanics which just don't work towards positive player experience. Feel free to add smth, I might add it to the list. It may help to have such things in one place so developers could compile community's feedback a bit easier.
- Not obvious selection of characters able to smash doors and hack panels. Since rewards are not hero specific i see no reason to have such solution in a game. All characters should be able to smash destructible doors. If there is an Iron Man on the team level generator can limit some POIs specifically to this mechanic.
- Statuses cutting off hero moves. There is a suppression status which disables hald of basic moves like dodge and sprint and another one which drains your abilites' meter. There should be at least more transparent and visible starter animations for such crucial statuses so skillful player can dodge them. But i'd suggest removing them completely. Having a damage resistance enemy is ok but not letting the player to use hero abilities and moves is like trying to take off the gamepad from this hands in the moment of skillcheck. If success of a player session is dependant on timings and skills _input must be consistent_.
- Tracking rockets. There shouldn't be any skillcheck after I dodge the rocket since I automatically loose the sight of it. It's nearly impossible to dodge smth from behind in such dynamic game. Also VFX dosn't help to pinpoint these rockets in viewport (bright light on bright sky) and tracking distance is ridiculous.
- Weeklies that tell to repeat a specific mission type # times. It's far worse than 'make 100 kills with a specific move' simply because it can't be completed alongside you playing the game the way you want. Also asking to repeat a specific mission a dozen times is not a good idea for already repetative game.
- No drop-in matchmaking. There are TONS of situations when my friend couldn't join me.
- Vendors standing in the opposite end of the social hubs. I don't see any value in traversing the same space over and over again.
- No mass dismantle in inventory.
