[2021] How is resetting stats still an issue?

For those who are unfamiliar with this very lovely bug: at random points during a mission, the game can just decide to drop your stats. Doesn't matter what level you are or what level the mission is. Everything goes down to like 200 for no reason. This get especially frustrating during Mega Hives and other high power missions. You just randomly do next to no damage and have the vitality of a two year old, leaving you incredibly vulnerable to being one shot by the auto tracking projectiles in the game.

The (temporary) fix for this is to equip another piece of gear and reequip the one you were using while praying to God that your stats drop during your fight with AIM Elites.

I just can't play the game for more than 30 minutes without being extremely frustrated with constantly having to fight this bug. This is an issue that's been around for around 5 months now and it still hasn't been fixed. It makes the game tedious and sucks whatever remaining fun I was having away.
