I respect that stance, but only when someone is as metered about it as you are. Thanks for not being someone who's just using the historical inaccuracies as ammo for their predisposition against the game!

Lol nerd out to your hearts content, my friend. Wish I knew of some accessible games that boasted fun gameplay and high levels of historical accuracy / realism, but sadly I do not. Lol I play shit like For Honor, the least historically accurate game on the planet

Edit: Also, as the other commenter mentioned, your username is 10/10 unique and funny haha cheers

This is one of the best actual conversations I've seen on reddit.. ever. A friendly chat between two people who don't totally agree but aren't being disagreeable and rude.

Also, we hear ya about the authentic uniforms.
As was mentioned (thank you), Fun over Realism. Gameplay over Realism.

I'll definitely re-ping this conversation again with this week's report to the studio.

And just remember, authenticity doesn’t mean not fun. To a lot of us, sporting the authentic uniforms is fun especially since it’s a WW2 game.

Totally understand. Authenticity is important to a lot of folks. My argument was about realism. It’s nuanced, but there is a difference.

For example, authentic would be era appropriate British and German uniforms. Realism would take that further, in my opinion, such as folks asking for Nazi uniforms. (And before this gets taken out of context or downvoted to the seventh circle of Hades, I am not insinuating folks want to dress like Nazis - though there are some that have asked for this specifically).

I’m enjoying these conversations and hope we can continue them in a positive and constructive way.
